Islington Crematorium

Islington Crematorium is situated within the impressive Islington & St Pancras Cemetery in East Finchley.

The Crematorium has a wide range of facilities including a multi-faith Chapel, waiting room and dedicated Book of Remembrance.

Outside there is an electronic book of remembrance which allows visitors to view entries when the crematorium is closed as well as dedicated areas for displaying floral tributes. Parking is available throughout the site.

The Chapel

The chapel has a distinctive glass dome that gives it a light and peaceful ambience.

The chapel has comfortable, individual seating for up to 74 people with additional standing room. There are two outside screens where the service can be viewed to accommodate large congregations.
It comes equipped with music, video and live web streaming facilities.

It also has an induction loop to help the hard of hearing and a ramp can be provided for disabled access on request.

Multimedia facilities

The chapel has Obitus - a multi-media music system which can offer almost any track of your choice to be ordered in advanced.

Digital screens allow a tribute including photos and videos to be displayed.

Webcast services allow those who are unable to attend the service to watch it live via a secure webpage. DVDs or Blu-rays of each service can also be purchased from the crematorium by prior arrangement.

There is also an electronic organ, which can be arranged upon request.
