Thoughtful funeral flowers, inspired by nature
by Unruly flowers

Unruly Flowers was started by Katie Musgrave, inspired by her lifelong love of flowers. Her beautiful studio is situated in The Poetic Garden, next to Poetic Endings in Forest Hill. Katie specialises in using British grown flowers, valuing their vibrancy, textures, colours and scents. Her style is free and wild and she loves playing with colour, letting the flowers speak for themselves. Katie is conscious of how arrangements are made, and only uses methods which are kind to the environment.

Katie will guide you through choosing unique and special farewell flowers. You’ll find some inspiration and ideas below, but Katie also loves working with you to design your perfect tribute, welcoming creativity and individuality in whatever form that takes.

PLANTED ARRANGEMENTS - PLANT AGAIN

Planted arrangements are made up of a variety of seasonal plants and can be made in different shapes - wreath, spray, heart and nest. The arrangements are designed to be planted again. Katie combines plants, bulbs and herbs already in full bloom with other plants, bulbs and herbs that will flourish in the weeks after the funeral.

Plants are wrapped and placed in a way that is easy to remove and plant again. All these arrangements are totally bespoke. The colour and exact plants can be changed to reflect your choices and the season.

Katie can also help with floral decorations for the chapel, memorial venue or wake.

OTHER FUNERAL FLORISTS

We also highly recommend funeral flowers by Yolly in Forest Hill and The Fresh Flower Company in East Dulwich.

If you’re looking for more traditional funeral flowers including lettering, we recommend contacting Bartley’s in Dulwich Village, Laurel’s in Forest Hill and Floral Hall in West Norwood.

We do not take commission from any of the florists we work with.
