ABOUT YOU

This role is ideal for someone with impeccable administration and organisational skills, who wants to work in a busy and high stakes environment where no two days are the same. It's ideal for someone who thrives on taking pride in exceptional administrative work.

You’ll need to have excellent and up-to-date computer skills. We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a computer and can quickly embrace Adobe Sign, Squarespace, & Dropbox, as well as all the Microsoft packages.

You’ll need to be detail-orientated, as you’ll be responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly behind-the-scenes from a logistical and administrative perspective.

Your impeccable eye-for-detail will mean that the funeral home is always immaculately presented and running smoothly. You'll proactively ensure the funeral home has everything it needs to run seamlessly.

You’ll need to be organised, responsive and capable of using your own initiative, with an awareness of boundaries.

Funerals can be intense so you’ll need to be a calm and supportive presence in emotionally challenging situations. We’re looking for someone who is sensitive to the needs of others, and is able to work with kindness, thoughtfulness and flexibility as core values, leaving all judgement at the door.

You’ll need to be well-presented and dressed appropriately – we never know who might come through the door of our funeral home.

You’ll need an excellent telephone manner - courteous, polite, friendly, gentle, patient and warm.

You’ll need to be an excellent communicator with the ability to work with people from all walks of life. We embrace and welcome the diversity of our community, and want everyone to feel safe, respected and valued.

You’ll be attentive and ensure nothing goes unnoticed - we’ll never be without coffee, milk or washing up liquid when you’re around. You’ll also know how to make an excellent cup of tea!

We love to work alongside committed individuals who are enthusiastic about the work we're doing to change funerals for the better. Whilst previous experience in the funeral industry is valued, it’s not essential. You'll be trained, supported and encouraged every step of the way.
