“Holding ceremony is about the right words at the right time; silence at the right time and the ritual use of symbolism to go beyond the thinking mind.”
Join us on Zoom to consider what it means to facilitate ceremony and ritual around death and dying with end of life doula, ceremonialist and author Alexandra Derwen.
Alexandra will speak from their own experience, as someone who has sat with life, death and everything inbetween. Alexandra will share observations and insights from their experiences accompanying hundreds of people on their final journeys, inviting us to explore the power of ritual and ceremony to support us in navigating hard and liminal times.
This talk is ideal for anyone interested in how we can use ritual and ceremony to better support our work in death and dying.
